I can tell you that the e-ink display of my nook is very nice even reading in bright sunlight no problem. You and I could even lend each other selected books for 14 days..Kindle can lend now also but not when it first hit the market place. I have only downloaded books from B&N. It is possible to download from other websites but the books are stored in a different place on the nook.wheels209https://www.blogger.com/profile/10688255835855222478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-55282503134540185.post-16482380319402120202010-11-10T10:28:46.611-08:002010-11-10T10:28:46.611-08:00Wheels-- I'm looking at the Nook because I can...Wheels-- I'm looking at the Nook because I can download more formats than the Kindle. Some publishers are starting to offer ARC's for download and I can't use the Kindle for that. I'm mulling over whether to get the Nook color, but they haven't had one at our local Barnes & Noble to play with yet. I'm only on the fence because they say that one doesn't have the e-ink.SQThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04251030404220909306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-55282503134540185.post-84656169435929194182010-11-10T10:23:26.605-08:002010-11-10T10:23:26.605-08:00Hi SQT,

That was a bit geeky.

There is definitely a snark overload in the paranormal/urban fantasy genre. I personally like snark. In normal life, I am a snark machine. I think the failing is when writers use snark to avoid developing characters, or to avoid a potentially difficult, emotionally charged scene. Snark is great as a standalone tool, but it has become quite the character crutch.AvDBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16574481780173046619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-55282503134540185.post-51198196526916618872010-11-10T03:03:45.407-08:002010-11-10T03:03:45.407-08:00Oh, GOD!
