Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a blog meme hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine to feature upcoming books.

This week's WoW selection is:

Seven Kinds of Hell by Dana Cameron
Publisher: 47 North
Date: March 12, 2013
Pages: 374

Archaeologist Zoe Miller has been running from a haunting secret her whole life. But when her cousin is abducted by a vicious Russian kidnapper, Zoe is left with only one option: to reveal herself.

Unknown to even her closest friends, Zoe is not entirely human. She’s a werewolf and a daughter of the “Fangborn,” a secretive race of werewolves, vampires, and oracles embroiled in an ancient war against evil.

To rescue her cousin, Zoe will be forced to renew family ties and pit her own supernatural abilities against the dark and nefarious foe. The hunt brings Zoe to the edge of her limits, and with the fate of humanity and the Fangborn in the balance, life will be decided by an artifact of world-ending power.

47North (Amazon's sci-fi/fantasy imprint) was kind enough to send me a digital ARC of this book and I thought it looked like a great WoW pick. I know I know-- more vampires and werewolves (which I seem to keep featuring even though I claim to be sick of them). I guess I'm still a fan of the genre even though it can get tired very quickly. And the title- I do love the title of this book too.

I didn't hear about this book or writer before but I agree great tittle and premise sounds promising. There are a lot of books with vamps or weres (my WOW pick also has them lol) but I think books still can be original with them. Great pick!

This book sounds really good! At least you don't have to wait too long for this one .. I hate waiting 6 - 12 months for a book. HORRIBLE!!

Oh this is a new one to me. Great find. I have to say the model on this cover looks like Pete on Caitlin Kittridge Black London series covers. That's neat. :) Thank you!
