I'm not really a zombie guy, but that actually looks pretty good. I read about all of the re-shoots, etc., so hopefully it is.
If the movie follows the book then I'm unlikely to see it. The book was interesting but not really a story perse.
after watching the trailer it doesn't really follow the book at all. I think that is disappointing, but maybe they can do some of the stories from the book as promotional stuff for the DVD. Kind of like the Animatrix.
I have to read the book before I can make any judgements. But as a movie it looks really good.
Leaving all the zombies for you! Somehow, that trend is missing me entirely...but my students are crazed for it. I'll need to know about this movie just to know what they're talking about.
The book was really good, but it wasn't a first person story like this appears to be. It takes the form of a U.N. worker piecing together the story of the Zombie Apocalypse from different people's stories from around the world. I'm guessing this is more "loosely" based on the overall story, and maybe they weave in the characters/stories as Brad Pitt travels around the world battling zombies. Just a guess however, as this trailer is the only thing I've seen from the movie. Cheers, Jeff
This trailer looks amazing. Hordes of zombies flooding over the wall. Terrifying.
When the title World War Z starting popping up all over the internet sites I usually frequent, I thought "What is all the fuzz about?"I think the huge pile of zombies in the pretty much answers that question. It looks terrifying!
