Surviving in a volcanic world is tough enough, but caveman Grug (Nicolas Cage) gets a rude awakening when an earthquake forces him to leave behind the only world he knows. With his family in tow, he ventures out into the volatile world in search of a new home. The situation becomes even more complicated when Grug's family — in particular his oldest daughter, Eep (Emma Stone) — falls for a nomad (Ryan Reynolds) they encounter on their dangerous journey. This quirky, imaginative stranger's search for 'tomorrow' is at odds with Grug's reliance on the traditions of yesterday.

Looks fun, but no Reynolds in hearing there and what's up with the nature?
Yeah, the trailer doesn't exactly jibe with the synopsis and the setting is certainly fantastical rather than realistic. That said, it's very pretty.
Looks interesting, to bad it had nicolas cage in it.... Although since he's only voice acting I might be able to handle him in this movie.
@Ben268- I like Cage. He's made some stinkers but there's something about his strangeness that appeals to me in a Christopher Walken kind of way. I loved him in "Kick Ass."
The trailer looks interesting...definitely went in a direction I wasn't really expecting--a bit 'caveman meets journey to the center of the earth'.
But, I'm curious. DreamWorks announced a crazy amount of projects for the next few years. It'll be interesting to see how they hold up.
