a very low key catwoman outfit.
I read that Nolan wanted her to look more like a thief than a temptress.
Well, this makes me much less enthused about the movie. The Bane pictures were kind of dumb, and these are just silly. At least with The Dark Knight you could tell that the Joker was, well, the Joker. He was just really creepy and evil looking (gross and dirty and stuff).I dunno...
@S.M.D.-- I used to work in television and the finished product often looks remarkably different than the rough one. After the quality of "The Dark Knight," I'm more than willing to give Nolan the benefit of the doubt.
I hope this movie is good. If it isn't, it shall be tragic. /sigh.
Got to side with SMD. When you say catwoman you get a pic in your head. If you're an old fart like me the first pic is Kitt camping it for TV but then you have to go with the next iteration I have to go with Michelle Pfeiffer as a twisted bugler with a love / hate thing for Batman. Pfeiffer's character was damaged but driven, her demons lived as did her near "fatal attraction" to Batman. This variation looks more like a Batgirl wannabee (and might have worked that way) I thought Barbara Gordon / Batgirl had some potential but this Catwoman? ehhh
I have a hard time picturing Hathaway as Catwoman too. But I'm determined to stay optimistic.
SQTYeah there is just something fundamentally wrong with the choice. Even though the photos may not be indicative of the finished project here we see a rail thin runway model physique and I see Catwoman maybe thin but not waif like but on that frame is a musculature capable of dishing out and taking punishment. Even Michelle was a bit thin for the part when you have to say, where is the ability to trade blows with Batman etc...Michelle Pfeiffer was barely believable....this one?
