Where to Begin?

I have been really, really........really bad about keeping up with my "books received" list. I was somewhat ambitious about wanting to keep the list updated with the description of the book included, but once I got behind it began to seem so time consuming that I kept putting it off until I had time to get to it-- until I didn't have time to get to it all. I know-- I'm so lucky to have a problem like that. Anyway. I need to do something, so, for now, I'm putting up pictures. Here are some recent arrivals... The good news is that I have duplicates of some of these, so they'll make their way to you through some giveaways. The bad news is that I have about six bookshelves that look like this.... And don't know where to start...

You can start by sending some my way! Hehe. That is a hell of a lot of books though, I'd love to have a bookcase filled with "Books received". Good luck getting through them all!

If that's bad news I'd love to have some bad news myself like that ;-)

Well, I shouldn't say "bad news." I just get boggled sometimes.

Here's my suggestions then!
From the 1st pack/photo, I'd start with Kay's Under Heaven.
From the 2nd pack/photo, I'd start with Newton's Nights of Villjamur.
From the 3rd pack/photo, I'd start with Sanderson's The Way of Kings.
From the pictured bookcase.... well.. it's getting harder now but I spot some interesting choices for a start! Maybe the collection Warriors, or Ambercrombie's Last Argument of Kings or even Bear's Windracked Stars.

A note about all my suggestions though: I have not read any of those books, those are simply books I really really want to get and read and I would welcome another opinion or review before I do so!

Wowza! That's a lot of books. I'm sure you can do it! If not, I could always use a new bookshelf ;)

I'm being eaten up by jealousy that everyone else already got their copies of Sanderson's book, except for me. That's one of the downfalls of living in Israel, it takes me weeks longer than everyone else to get my review books. I'm also looking forward to receiving Cold Magic, which Kate Elliott actually bullied her publicist into sending me(most publishers don't send internationally) so I really hope I enjoy that one.

WHo Fears Death?

Please.... Start with that and then give it to me. LOL that was desperate. :D

Anyway, you have a serious, serious problem....

Sounds like you need more bookshelves. I like to see that one particular book in there. :)

I should have this trouble. Sheesh. The sweet thing about being a book critic, is that you don't have to read everything. They send those books to you because it's an investment, a marketing cost. Pat yourself on the back for having become the go-to-girl. Of course, when you receive THE RAVENING, I'm sure I won't be so glib.

Stu-- There's no way I could read everything. That's why I do giveaways...
