My cousin just got back from Haiti. He went there with a medical team to get out supplies and aid to the earthquake victims. I live in California and remember the San Francisco and Northridge quakes really well-- obviously those were nothing compared to Haiti. But seeing the pictures really brings it home.

My cousin is already planning a trip back next month with my aunt's boyfriend to help the rebuilding effort. Those guys are my heroes.

Words fail.
Wow. Just incredible. The destruction.
I don't even think the pictures can capture the scope of it. My cousin posted about 70 pictures and they all show whole neighborhoods like this.
My heroes too. Kudos to your cousin and the folks he is going there with. I wish them a safe trip there and back. Seeing some of those buildings still standing, if you can even call it 'standing', is just as scary as seeing all the rubble.
I can't imagine. Give your cousin my thanks for doing what I don't.
