Prelude to an orgy, for sure.

I'm trying to think which of my friends had that same fireplace in her house. I did lots of sleepovers in front of it. And I wasn't even one of the babes in that video shoot.

I would love to see more of Campbell; I wonder if his association with the genre wasn't one of the things that sort of hampered his career. I know, I know, some people will say: "Campbell did well! Come on!!" Except, I'm not sure how many people outside of genre would recognize him immediately, or know his name.

He is definitely a cult figure.

You may have a point. I told my husband about this when I posted it because I knew he'd appreciate the lounge-singer version of "Hungry Like the Wolf" and he had no idea who Bruce Campbell was. That's just wrong.

Somewhere, maybe on his website, I once read, that Bruce's father had a job he hated and was a struggling actor on the side. He told Bruce to find something he loves doing and have fun with it. (paraphrased/summarized)

Did being a B movie actor hurt his career? Not in the least. He's had lead roles on mainstream media (Brisco County, for example). He is doing what he enjoys in the genre he loves.

Check out his website.

I bet most actors would be very happy to claim Bruce's career. I think steady work in Hollywood is hard to come by. "Burn Notice" isn't a bad gig either.

I haven't seen burn notice yet. I'll have to start with season 1 on dvd and work my way up
