Long ago she was the splitting image of Natalie Portman in Star Wars: Episode I. Now, she'll be playing a clone (or just dealing with them) in an upcoming sci-fi thriller, Never Let Me Go, based on the novel by Kazuo Ishiguro.
Who else is excited about this pairing?

I'd be really impressed if Keira would just eat a sandwich. Seriously.
I'm actually not a Keira fan... nothing she's done has impressed me much, particularly not her roles in the Pirates movies. I'll probably see it just because it's SF and based on a book (because I like that sort of thing), but I won't celebrate every time she's on screen.
Never Let Me Go is an extraordinary book. It's very visual and should work as a film too - so it's exciting to hear about a project to film it irrespective of cast. Also I'm not a huge fan of Keira but she can definitely act and I suspect she may be well-cast for the lead role.
They are making a movie of it?
I don't really like miss knightly but I loved that book. It was one of the last book proofs I got
