I'm so upset I missed this - was out or the country when it was release. They seem to have changed the book a bit (I've heard for the better) oh well, will hope they re-show it
Strange, I hadn't heard of this one yet...but it looks like it might be a good one. :) So this one is also based on a book? I'll have to see if I can find that.
the trailers look great.. the books are fantastic. But I've already read on bad review :o( of course I will still go see it! love the books and even if the movie is "less than anticipated" I always enjoy seeing some visuals of what I have read.... that and I like Brendon Frasier and Andy Serkis lol
can't do it, it's got one of the unholy trio of movie poison - brendan frasier, shia lebouf, and hayden christensen. if they are in it, it's gonna stink
Frasier was hotness defined in "George of the Jungle" so he gets a pass from me-- way more than LaBouf or Christensen ever will. You know how it is. If you have to watch a kid's film endlessly with your kids, anyone who adds a little something for mom or dad gets bonus points.
I'm going to be seeing Inkheart this weekend, it should be fun. The books are great, so they have a good storyline to work with, and the visuals so far look cool.
I've heard of "God and Monsters" but I haven't seen it. I do think Brendan Frasier gets knocked unnecessarily. I saw the first two "Mummy" movies in the theatre and really enjoyed them. I also just bought "Journey to the Center of the Earth" for my kids and we all liked it.
sqt: I'm with you on enjoying his movies, I too have seen the mummy movies and journey to the center of the earth. he seems to have fallen into fantasy movies, and that's not such a bad thing!

Promoted quite a lot over in the UK with Stardust-ish posters and trailers. Haven't seen it yet.

I think it's the Brendan Fraser aspect, puts a lot of people off.
