Don't use Siteground! Ever!

I've been trying all day to get a Wordpress site set up and made the bad mistake of signing on to a service called Siteground. They suck! I can't figure out how to use it at all and there is no live technical assistance. I decided to cancel and they're going to stick it to me with $50 worth of fees even though I haven't even set up a site. Don't use Siteground ever!

I'm sorry to hear that you had such a difficult time with setting up WordPress, but you know... WP offers a FREE service on setting up your first WordPress blog. They're quick and efficient. I, myself, struggled the first time I set up my own blog (currently dying from lack of attention), but now I could set up a WP blog without a thought.

Oh and a note... you can sign up for a free WordPress blog at wordpress.com just like you would at LJ or Blogger.

Thanks for the warning. Glad you got the site back to normal here, though.

I have had Siteground for a
couple of years--no problems other than Blogspot shutting my blog down...but thats another story.

I have tried several times
(today for one) to set up a WordPress blog and there
seems to all be a 'snag'--I am a computer dummy--WP seems to things that all bloggers are computer 'experts'.

As much as I dislike Blogspot, it took me 10 minutes to be up and running a new blog.
