Oh Hell Yeah!

I don't care what the tabloids say about Christian Bale. I love him. And I know nothing about "Watchmen," but I'm going to find out.

Yeah. I know nothing about The Watchmen either. But I wanna know now. And Christian Bale . . . he's just amazing. But sadly I haven't been able to see TDK. Has to do with a lack of babysitters. Sigh. I'm bummed.

Very, *very* happy.

If you don't know The Watchmen, you really need to read it. Might take a whole four or five hours, but the experience is well worth it.

Well. Worth it.

TDK was amazing (just got back) and the trailer for The Watchmen left me speechless. I bought the graphic novel last winter but never got around to reading it. Lots of recommendations for it made me put the order into Amazon.

Now I don't know if I should wait and see the movie and then read it or take the chance that I'll love the novel and be disappointed in the movie. Decisions, decisions...

I think the Watchmen is a comic/graphic novel, but I don't know anything about it. If Steve recommends it, though, it must be worth checking out. I can see Bale as John Conner.

Christian Bale was great in roles before this film too - ever see The Mechanic? he dropped i think 60 pounds for that role... SCARY skinny

That sucks! I wish I lived closer. I'd babysit just to make sure you got to see DK.

Now I have to get the Watchmen.

I'm so glad you liked TDK. If it were me, I'd read the novel just so I'd know what the story was about.

I'm so glad they didn't pick a cheesy John Connor.

I haven't seen the Mechanic, but I've scene parts of it. He looked emaciated.

Please read WATCHMEN! It's amazing. I did find some parts a bit murky, but maybe that's because I was turning the pages so quickly.

The movie will probably be pretty close to the source material, but I still recommend reading it first.

I hadn't heard of Watchmen until here. But I'm intrigued.

I haven't seen TDK yet either, I'm waiting for it to come to the theater in town, rather than drive 40 minutes to the other one. Nice to see so many Bale fans! :D
