I've never played a video game before and I am addicted to this thing, and I'm still on the "easy" level.

Crunchy, I tell you, it's much easier than you think. If I can play it...
I literally feel like I've jumped off the abyss. I've beat the easy level and now I'm on "medium." I don't know when I'll come up for air. I have three books I've read and need to put up for review, but noooo, I gotta play my video game.
This game rocks. And you said you weren't a gamer, SQT. I love the Guitar Hero series. Yes, Charles is right, a Pandora's Box has been opened..but what demons will emerge.
What system are you playing on
Stu, I have never played any games before, but this one hooked me. I think it's because what you are doing on the guitar directly corresponds with what's onscreen. I could never get into the joystick method of playing games but this is different.
We're using a Playstation 2 right now. My husband wants to get a Playstation 3 and a Wii, but they're not exactly our first priority right now. I'm spending too much time as it is playing this without getting hooked to a Wii!
I've been a guitar player for 20 years and I'll tell you that this game is harder for those of us who know how to actually play the songs..But I love it all the same...Rock on! \m/
Ahh, you're talking near and dear to my heart now, SQT! And yes, you're in trouble. We started with GH2 for the 360, then for Christmas we bought both Rock Band and GH3. I'm working my way through hard on GH2 (when I take a time-out from WoW, of course). You will love the end of the Medium level, I think. Me, I'm dreading the level 7 and 8 songs on Hard. I can coordinate four fingers on four buttons.. four fingers on five buttons is.. well.. HARD!! :D Good luck!
Asara, we've since gone and bought all of the guitar hero games on PS2. I forget which one I'm on now, it's all a blur. But I've completed 20 songs on medium on this one. But now all the songs are getting seriously hard. I've never heard of most of the ones I'm trying to do now. It's all this heavy metal stuff that is seriously testing my coordination.
I have no life right now.
