Tin Man Trailer

This has such an amazing cast. But I wish, more than anything, it wasn't produced by the Sci-fi channel. They've canceled Dresden Files and they're ending BSG. Dare I get attached to Tin Man?

Nice cast indeed, but I'm not really convinced by this trailer.

BSG is probably ending while it's at the toop. I thought it would go for a couple more seasons, though.

I'm not sure either. It's strange how they refer to OZ as "The O.Z." I'm not sure if that will bug me or not...

Jean-Luc

But I'm not ready for it to go.... *sniff*

On the other hand, SciFi is the channel that aired Firefly in the correct order, and all 13 of them, after Fox had screwed it up.

I hink that BSG was past its peak and that it had devolved into personality conflicts and lost sight of its goal to reach Earth w/o the Cylons. But it was good while it lasted....

I really couldn't stand the populist bullshit Baum was thinly veiling throughout his Oz tale, but I am (against all odds) highly optimistic about this re-vision of the work. The cast has something to do with it - Dorothy and the Tin Man being cast unbelievably well. Alan Cummings I can take or leave, I suppose, but you can't win 'em all.

That said, I'm pretty much gonna see anything with Zooey Deschanel in it. *swoon*

Oh, and BSG went one season too many. Last year was half filler and half "Who cares?"

Starbuck being alive, it makes me want to choke every Hollywood writer there is, was, and ever will be. Yes, I will dig up graves to choke ex-Hollywood-writers, if that's what it takes to quell my rage!

Heh Alex, I've missed having you around.

I agree that BSG kind of sucked last year, and don't even get me started on Starbuck. But I think the series could have had a longer shelf life if they had done a few things better. I hope they at least have a decent final season.
