Waiting for the Knight

Yeah, I could waste time talking about how I've always loved Batman. I could go on and on about how much I loved the Nolan film "Batman Begins" and about how excited I am I about the new one in production.

But I won't. I'll just let the pictures from the upcoming release speak for themselves.

I've gathered these from various places around the net, surfing my fingers off so you won't have to.

Okay, I'm going to hyperventilate. First Indy and now Batman.

*swoon*

I'm curious how Heath Ledger will be in the new movie. That picture promises at least a darker angle of dealing with the character. But a picture is not much to go on.

AS I understand it, the Batcostume has been reworked so there's more flexibilty. Batman can actually move his neck now!

My biggst complaint about the entire Batman movie run is that the costume is so restrictive, it kind of ruins what Batman is supposed to be a little bit. How's he supposed to swing around, jump, roll, and dive in that rubber armor?

DC superheroes are like Popeyes restaurants. Only people who can't afford KFC shop there.

Jon: the neck/body movement freedom was fixed with the suit for Batman Begins, Nolan couldn't stand seeing Michael Keaton swing his whole body around just to turn his head!

They just shot a scene for this movie outside my office -- the trailers were parked outside all last week.

When I first saw the picture of the new suit I was a little disappointed...there's something about it I can't quite put my finger on that bugs me.

And the motorcycle...hmmm...

As someone who obsessively loved the first movie, I'm a little worried that Dark Knight might not deliver.

But at least Nolan said that the Joker would be scary, not goofy.

Still, I can't wait!

I think I'm good as long as Christian Bale is in the suit. :D

Thanks for stopping by!

Why don't they just come out and admit Batman and Robin were gay?
