I voted LOTR, but my vote is really split between LOTR and the Potter movies. These two series have been the most consistant for me quality wise.
I like some of the movies in the other series mentioned, but not all of them. I love the original trilogy Star Wars but hated the prequels. I liked the first Matrix movie but didn't care much for the sequels. I liked the first two Terminator movies but thought the third one sucked big time. Of all the Star Trek movies the only one I really liked was Wrath of Khan. As far as the Spiderman movies go I thought they were alright but they didn't knock my socks off. Maybe I'll be more thrilled by the 3rd movie.
For me it's really hard to find a movie franchise where I like all the movies in the series. Maybe I'm just too picky.
I voted for Star Wars, even though I think the prequels are subpar. The original three movies are such a great series. I grew up on those guys and they've made such a lasting impression me.
I voted LOTR too. I think it was well done, though I don't think I'll try to sit through all 3 in a row ever again. I remember sitting there just dying for Frodo to throw the darn ring in already!
Harry Potter is interesting. A lot of criticism has been aimed at the books despite their popularity, but the movies seem to be fairly well received. I think they're pretty good. In fact, I liked the 4th one the most-- so far.
The Matrix is really only one good movie out of the series. But damn! That first one was pretty fantastic IMO.
I always liked the Terminator movies. The third one wasn't the best, but I ended up liking it more than I thought I would. I'm sure that's only because they had a cool Terminatrix in that one.
heyyyy! not fair!! I love star wars/ harry potter AND lord of the rings..AND star trek!! don't ask me to choose just one!!!! I've seen them all more than once and will again!

It is hard to top the original 3 Star Wars movies. I tend to ignore the later 3, though I am told Revenge of the Sith is pretty good.
How bad is it that I haven't even seen the last one? I just lost interest after the first two.
I pretend the prequels don't exist, so I said Star Wars. I like the Potters as well.
Can I vote Serenity?
If not then Star Trek it is.
My all-time favorite list does not have sci-fi though.
I have not seen the original Star Wars movies. Nor have I seen LOTR.
I did not like Matrix very much.
Spiderman is pretty good, but I am not into superheroes.
Holy cow Peter! You haven't seen the original Star Wars? Or LOTR?
What are you? A barbarian? ;)
I promise to put them on my Netflix queue.

According to your quizzes I am a cross between Harry Potter and Inara. I cannot start to imagine what that is. :)
Because X-Men isn't an option.. Star Trek.
Sorry Angela, should've added in X-Men.

I think this one will let you keep voting. Just vote for all the one's you like.
I liked all of 'em but had to go with Star Wars because of the impact upon my childhood and movie-making in general.
I went Star Trek -- I would have gone with Harry Potter too if I could have had two choices because the movies have been uniformly good.
Can't say that about the Trek movies, certainly. But Star Trek IV will still be funny 40 years from now...
I voted Spiderman. The character development, story, and special effects are superb. I can't wait until the next one!!
I'll vote Star Wars if we can pretend the last three made never cursed my eyeballs with their existence.
If not, Lord of the Rings.
I love the whole list - I voted for Potter because it was in the middle of the poll.
