Thanks Stewart!

SmileyCentral.com Thanks for helping me out this weekend. I promise to get off my lazy butt and get something up soon. And in case anyone is interested in something really important, Casino Royale comes out on DVD Tuesday.

Saw it. Forgot it already.

At least the new guy is slightly better than his ultra-femmey (Dalton and Brosnan) forerunners.

Maybe if Eva Green had gotten naked... nah, the movie still would have been completely formulaic (keeping alive the Bond tradition), poorly scripted, and filled with mediocre actors playing completely two-dimensional characters, despite the black and white flashback sequences.

One good thing I can say about the film is that there was some great cinematography. Some of the shots - especially the Mediterranean homes/resorts - were breathtaking!

Yup.. tomorrow will be my favorite day of the month because of the release.. and that's including my birthday. Granted, I'm turning 30. So, I'm not exactly looking forward to it anyway. ;)

Daniel. Craig.

Oh man. I've been waiting for the opportunity to bring up Daniel Craig's bum again.

"Casino Royale" is hardly formulaic. Unlike the cookie cutter stories with the end of the world plots and the larger than life villains, with Bond running around with all manner of absurd gadgetry, "Casino Royale" returns to who and what Bond is: an assassin who is often conflicted with who he is and what he does.

It's okay not to like this film, but formulaic?

Mediocre actors? Daniel Craig was tremendous as Bond. He plays him as Fleming wrote him. This is a man on the edge. A man who is losing his humanity, trying to cope with that through his womanizing and self destructive actions.

So, although you may not like Bond, and may not like action films in general, this film is one people shouldn't miss. And me? I intend on buying the Deluxe edition of "Casino Royale".

I don't really like Woody Allen, hold on a minute what year is it?

Stewart - You somehow forgot to mention the magnificence of his bum. I'm sure it was just a mistake. I forgive you.

Lee, his bumm is wonderful. I am told both cheeks are God's gift to the female world and that the woman who is lucky enough to cup them will never need plastic surgery. Or so they say.
