Yeah Bee, I kind of felt the same way. Especially when she was looking at herself in the mirror, that was just disturbing.
Jean-luc-- It does seem that Betty's look may have been influenced by this early Diana Prince. Thank goodness they didn't try to make Linda Carter look this bad.
I am not looking forward to Wonder Woman, the motion picture. I am sure it will be campy..how can it be anything but? Maybe it's a good thing. Maybe the filming of Wonderwoman (outside of a porn job) is a sign that the superhero genre has jumped the shark, so to speak. Oh wait...Ghost Rider signaled that, didn't it?
I don't know that Wonder Woman-- the movie-- is going to be made after all. Joss Whedon, who was scheduled to direct is off the film and I don't think they have a replacement.
I don't know if doing Wonder Woman would necessarily mean the genre's jumped the shark; but it's a strong signal that it has. I'm trying to picture it as not being campy and ridiculous and if anyone manages to pull that off I'd be impressed.
All that whining made me think I was at the casa de Skywalker.
BTW, who on Earth could they find to replace the stunning LC? Would they pick another Latina? I doubt it. The part would probably go to some overrated skank who couldn't act her way out of a nightgown.
Oh, and I am very relieved to hear this was supposed to be a spoof. It's just disturbing to think someone might have seriously thought this might make it as a series.

Maudie Prickett!! I freaking love her!
And I had never seen this before, so I checked it out on IMDB. Thank God, it was supposed to be a spoof!

Jessica Alba, or something. Blah!
For the life of me I can't think of who might replace Linda Carter.
