The Ultimate Science Fiction Family

Who are these people and what planet do they come from? In what world can three girls live in one bedroom and survive the experience? In what dimension does one have a father who will stop whatever he is doing to listen to his child talk about anything? I think they're robots, like in the "Stepford Wives."

Surely the give away is the screw-on lids disgused as haircuts on the boys.

I watched it a few times when I was a kid, and it scared the crap out of me.
They _are_ robots. But I think they're more like "Terminator" than "Stepford wives". They might smile at you and bake you cookies, but all the while they're envisioning themselves slitting your throat in your sleep.

OMG! Now I'm having visions of Cindy as some kind of mini-terminatrix. That's even scarier than the real show, and I didn' think that was possible!

Maybe they were like the village of the dammed/Midwich Cookoos type of thing...all psychically linked.

or pod people.

Just a quick "thanks" for popping over to Kellie's blog and offering some support. Much appreciated. Have a great weekend.

I'm thinking "children of the corn"... *shiver* And I'm gonna throw in a little of "the ring". Just a matter of time before they come crawling out of your tv.

I never thought robots, but it all makes sence now.

I did love the movies on a certain level. Gary Cole's Mike Brady was dead fricking on perfect.

The movies were hilarious. I mean, Shelley Long as Carol Brady? It doesn't get better than that. And the girl who played Jan had the best walk ever.

The maid was the one who held the family together. I always had an image of her in leather with hip high boots and white lipstick. It's why I'm in therapy.

SQT said...

Alice in thigh high boots?! ((shudder))

Who wouldn't need therapy after that image?

The movie versions were so funny!

When the robber said "This a carjack!", and Brady replied "It certainly is, and my name's not Jack" before driving off had me laughing.

Too funny! :p

Are you saying that they are not a real family? You talking as if the Brady's are fiction. They are REAL!
